INGREDIENTS

Makes 10 balls

  • 200g medjool dates (pitted)
  • 120g skinless hazelnuts
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • pinch of salt
  • coconut to coat (optional)

METHOD

  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blitz until all the ingredients are blended and smooth. If you find the mixture isn’t sticking together enough, add a little water and blitz again.
  2. Using a tablespoon, scoop out the mixture and roll into balls, coat in coconut if you desire.
  3. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to a week (they will actually keep for longer but mine are usually eaten within a week).
